The three Vocal Group Village Community Choirs of Bramhall, Marple & Heald Green combined on Thursday 1st December to sing In the Bleak Midwinter for the St Ann’s Hospice Outdoor Tree of Lights Service at Oak Meadow Park in Cheadle Hulme. Over 50 strong voices of the choir entertained those who had come to the Christmas service to remember their loved ones.

The Stockport Schools Brass Band also played a variety of Christmas songs including Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful and Away in a Manger for the gathering.

It was the first time this service had taken place outdoors in Cheadle Hulme and Oak Meadow Park proved to be just perfect for the occasion which was a resounding success.
