On 15th June, Carnival time arrived in Marple at Memorial Park. The Vocal Group Village Community Choir which is comprised of local groups from Marple, Bramhall and Heald Green helped entertain the crowds with their energising performance of songs such as Up On The Roof, Dancing Queen and the Beach Boys classic Barbara Ann.
Hundreds of people turned out on a sunny day to support the annual event which is run by local volunteers and the day turned out to be a smash hit of an event. Let’s hope the weather holds again next year!
